Antofagasta, Concepción, La Serena, Rancagua, Santiago, Temuco, Valparaiso and Viña del Mar are the host cities where the 2015 Copa América in Chile will be held.

Antofagasta

  • By plane: From Santiago, there are direct flights to Cerro Moreno Airport in Antofagasta and El Loa in Calama (2 hours).
  • By bus: From Santiago, buses stop first in Antofagasta and then continue to Calama. The latter trip takes about 23 hours. In Santiago, buses leave from Terminal Los Heroes (Phone: 56 2 420 0099) and Terminal San Borja (former North Terminal, Phone: 56 2 776 0645.).
  • By car: From Santiago, take Ruta 5 Norte and then west on Route 26 or 28 (1,377 km).

Concepción

  • By plane: There are daily departures from Santiago to Carriel Airport in Concepción. (1 hour). Shuttle services and taxis are available to Concepción and Talcahuano.
  • By bus: There are daily buses from several companies, Santiago to Chillán (4 hours) and Santiago to Concepción (6 hours). Buses leave from Terminal Alameda (Phone: 56 2 776 2424) and Terminal Santiago (former South Terminal, Phone: 56 2 376 1750). Local buses connect with other towns in the area. There are also buses arriving from Puerto Montt, Valdivia, Temuco, Osorno and other cities.
  • By car: From Santiago, take Ruta 5 Sur to Chillán (404 km), then take Ruta 152 westbound to Concepción (500 km from Santiago).

La Serena

  • By plane: From Santiago, there are daily flights to La Florida Aerodrome in La Serena (1 hour).
  • By bus: From Santiago, buses leave from Terminal Los Heroes (Phone: 56 2 420 0099) and Terminal San Borja (former North Terminal, Phone: 56 2 776 0645). From Coquimbo and La Serena, buses also depart inland towards Ovalle, Monte Patria, Pisco Elqui and Vicuña.
  • By car: From Santiago, take Ruta 5 Norte (470 km).

Rancagua

  • By bus: Daily buses from Terminal Alameda (Phone: 56 2 776 2424) and Terminal Santiago (former South Terminal, Phone: 56 2 376 1750). Local buses connect with other towns in the area.
  • By car: From Santiago, take Ruta 5 Sur (1 hour).

Santiago

  • By plane: Arturo Merino Benitez Airport (SCL) receives daily flights from the Americas and Europe. More information, visit the airport website.
  • By bus: There are four terminals in Santiago receiving buses from Argentina, from the North and South of Chile. Interprovincial and international buses arrive and depart from Terminal Alameda (Phone: 56 2 776 2424), Terminal Santiago (former South Terminal, Phone: 56 2 376 1750), Terminal Los Heroes (56 2 420 0099) and Terminal San Borja (former North Terminal, 56 2 776 0645).
  • By car: From Mendoza, Argentina, crossing the Andes at El Paso Los Libertadores Border (383 km).

Temuco

  • By plane: There are direct flights from Arturo Merino Benitez airport in Santiago (1 hour).
  • By bus: Buses depart daily from Santiago to Temuco (9 hours). Buses leave from Terminal Alameda (56 2 776 2424), Terminal Santiago (former South Terminal, 56 2 376 1750). Local buses connect with other towns in the area.
  • By car: From Santiago, take Ruta 5 Sur (676 km).

Valparaíso

  • By bus: Buses depart frequently from Santiago to the port city. The company shuttles depart from the terminals, the intermodal station “Pajaritos”, Alameda terminal (Metro U. de Santiago) and San Borja (Metro Estación Central).
  • By car: From Santiago, take Ruta 68 whether coming from the east by the Costanera Norte Highway or along Av. Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins and getting on the highway at Pajaritos Metro Station.

Viña del Mar

  • By bus: Buses depart frequently from Santiago to the port city. The shuttle departs from the terminals of the companies, the intermodal station “Pajaritos” Alameda terminal (Metro U. de Santiago) and San Borja (Metro Central Station).
  • By car: From Santiago, take Ruta 68 whether coming from the east by way of the North Coast Highway or along Av. Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins up to the Pajaritos Metro Station.
